What can I expect at the consultation?
We will go over what you are looking for out of online therapy or life coaching and make a decision together on what best fits your needs. The consultation is also a time to answer any questions you may have and plan for steps to help you start your mental wellness journey.
What is online therapy like?
With telemental health care or online therapy, you have the option of video, audio or messaging for engaging in therapy. You get to decide which type of communication you feel most comfortable with. The most important goal during our time together is to create a space where you feel safe and heard. In addition, you will acquire deeper knowledge of self, root causes of struggles, and ways to cultivate joy and your version of wellness in your life.
What if I am in a crisis?
Should you feel in need of urgent help or are in a crisis; call 911 or 1-800-273-TALK or text HOME to 741741 anytime 24/7. CreateWellness does not provide emergency and crisis counseling services.
How long do I need therapy?
This depends on what you are looking to work on. The amount of sessions or weeks you need will depend on your goals and what we figure out together is an appropriate length of time to work on them. The consulation will help us determine what may be a best fit for you.
What are acceptable payment methods?

What is a Superbill?
A Superbill is a paid invoice that you can independently submit to your insurance company for partial or full reimbursement. Please check with your insurance for out of network coverage policy.
Why isn’t online therapy offered to me if I live outside of California?
Licensure for psychotherapy is governed by state licensing boards. A therapist must be licensed to provide psychotherapy in the state the person receiving therapy resides. CreateWellness hopes to expand to provide holistic telemental health care to more states in the future.
